Crisis Plan Assessment
In a crisis plan assessment, virtually every element of the organization’s plans for crisis prevention and response are critically examined. Potential deficiencies are identified with recommendations for improvement and compliance. Determinations are made about the presence or absence of critical elements, the scope and limitations of the plan itself, inadequacies and constraints of the plan that incur liability, the frequency and quality of training, the accessibility and usability of the plan, and the frequency and quality of updates.
Personnel and Internal Security Audit
This audit examines the level of security present within the personnel and procedures of the organization. Potential deficiencies are identified with recommendations for improvement and compliance. Areas that are audited include:

In this review, consultants use surveys, observations, interviews, and formalized assessments as qualitative and quantitative data to analyze the components of the school’s climate. Crime and Discipline Data Analysis
Using both existing and new crime and discipline data, a detailed analysis of the type, frequency, severity, and duration of potential crisis incidents can be established. Areas of concern are identified with recommendations for improvement and compliance.
Strategic Supervision Plan Development
Implementing an effective plan of strategic supervision throughout a school is a low-cost, high-results strategy to improve school climate and mitigate safety risks. Consultants analyze needs and formulate a plan for effective supervision in targeted areas.
Site and Facilities Inspection
The inspection includes a complete hands-on walk through of the facilities to examine:

Security hardware
Areas for target hardening
Identification of hazards on the property and in the neighborhood
Access control
Visitor control

Inventory control
After the inspection, areas of concern are identified and recommendations developed to assist the school and/or district in threat mitigation.
Student threat assessment and inquiry implementation
Consultants analyze existing threat assessment procedures to determine their effectiveness, practicality, and liability limitations. Assistance is given in developing new procotols, policies, and procedures for identifying and appropriately acting upon potential perpretrators and/or victims of violence.
School Infiltration
Consultants test the existing daily safety practices by attempting targeted infiltrations of schools and/or areas. Areas of concern are identified with recommendations for improvement and compliance.
